When I graduated high school, my family decided to take a two week trip to travel across Europe. Though I had been out of the country a few times this was my first time in Europe. We started out in Spain and then had gone to France, we traveled to Bordueax and Paris. We finished off the trip with visiting Amsterdam and Venice. We went to a lot of popualar spots including The Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, and Saint Mark's Basilica. It felt so surreal being in another country especially visiting the Eiffel Tower, which I've only seen in movies.
My favorite part about travel is the food. I love eating and trying new food. When we we're in Spain, we tried a bunch of different appetizers because in Spain they don't eat full meals, they actually order a bunch of small plates and call it a meal. When going Paris, we stopped at many french cafes, where we drank cappuccinos and ate croissants. The french food was absolutely amazing, every restaraunt we went to felt fancy. Italy was probably the best place for food, the amount of pasta I devoured was unreal.
There's many places I would like to travel to in the future. I've been to a lot of places in America, but I've been wanting to do a long roadtrip around America. I also really want to visit Iceland and Greece. I can't imagine just spending a whole week by myself in Greece. I bet they have the best food and scenery, I would be living my Mama Mia dream life. While I do have future plans of some small travels ahead of me, I'm planning another Europe trip for after graduation.
